The Christmas Rush is Upon Us AGAIN !
Mortgage applications are at an all time high!
I constantly ask myself why am I always so busy this time of the year?
Isn’t Christmas the same date every year? If so will the rush happen in 2021 just as it is now!
I suspect the main reason for an extra busy time is the fact that Interest rates just keep falling which makes borrowing from banks far more affordable than paying rent, which as we all know and understand is just dead money….this along with first time buyers wanting to own their own home before Christmas has seen a huge rush in pre-approval applications.
With “LVR” Loan to Value Ratios about to increase for investors back to 30% deposit requirements it will become even easier for First Time Home Buyers to get back into the market with less competition.
